This eight-week course for adults on Monday afternoons will enable you to speak basic German, as well as providing you with insights into German culture and customs.
The tutor, Erica Parsons, spent many years in Berlin after the fall of the Wall as well as working for the German airline Lufthansa.
The course is organised by the Cheltenham branch of the Workers' Educational Association (WEA).
Just bring a dictionary, paper and pen.
